Information on behaviour systems in place can be found in the 'Pupil Zone' tab on the website. Our dedicated Learning and Behaviour Mentor is Mrs Hughes, who works Monday to Wednesday every week. This role involves helping pupils to cope with any difficulties they may be having in school regarding behaviour, and supporting any barriers they have with their learning. Mrs Hughes works closely with Mrs Salter (FCM) and the pupils' teachers to make sure that every pupil is being supported. She holds an open afternoon every Monday between 2pm - 4pm for parents to come and have a private informal chat about any worries they may have. If you would like to see Mrs Hughes, please just come along on a Monday or you can email her to book a specific date/time that suits you. This could be about issues such as...
* Behaviour problems
* Social/friendship issues
* Emotional/settling in issues
* Learning/attendance barriers
* Personal issues
Comment from Ofsted report (April, 2017)
"The impact of the school’s values can be seen in the good behaviour that pupils demonstrate, both in classrooms and around the school. There is a clear, understood system of rewards and sanctions that is consistently followed by staff. This helps to promote pupils’ good behaviour"
EYFS: "Adults consistently demonstrate the behaviour they want to see in children. Children learn to behave extremely well, playing and learning happily together"
